Kansai University | Joint Class Held by Students from the School of Policy Creation and Exchange Students—An Example of Multicultural Collaborative Learning—

In this class, under the theme "Local Solutions to Global Challenges," students examined global issues such as climate change by reframing them as concrete challenges faced by local communities.

This session was conducted jointly between "EU Studies in English" and "Climate Change: Interdisciplinary Approach," bringing together students from both classes into mixed groups for collaborative learning.

Students worked in groups to develop feasible local solutions using the provided challenge cards while sharing knowledge and perspectives from different countries, regions, and academic disciplines. Throughout the process, they actively exchanged ideas and engaged in collaborative problem-solving.

In the final session, each group presented its proposed solutions. The activity provided an opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of the importance of connecting global challenges with locally implementable actions through the integration of diverse perspectives.
