Extracurricular Multicultural Collaborative Learning Program 2026 Season 1 – Final Presentations

The Extracurricular Multicultural Collaborative Learning Program (AY2026, Season 1) concluded with its final presentations on July 12 (Sun).

The theme of the program was to develop and propose practical solutions that create social impact in Osaka by leveraging the strengths and resources of the Hiro Food Group. Since the end of May, students have participated in two in-person sessions and two online sessions, working together in multicultural teams throughout the program.

Supported by company mentors, five groups of students tackled the challenging theme of the food service industry and the employment of highly skilled international talent - a topic that they had never considered from either a customer’s perspective.

At the final presentations, each team shared the solutions they had refined over the past two months through discussion, collaboration, and problem-solving. The president of the Hiro Food Service praised the students' efforts, commenting, “The value lies in the process of thinking itself. Every idea was creative and inspiring.”

Working closely in diverse teams, students learned to overcome differences, exchange ideas, and grow together. Kansai University and Osaka Metropolitan University hope this experience will serve as a valuable foundation for their future academic and professional journeys.
