The OSIP Short-term career support program for Filipino engineers – April-May, 2026

On April 18, an online pre-departure session was held as part of the OSIP Short-Term Career Support Program for Filipino engineers aspiring to build their careers in Japan. The session covered key topics such as active listening for better understanding others, the concept of multiculturalism, and essential knowledge for living and working in Japan.

This program combines online pre-departure sessions with two days of in-person training at Kansai University after arrival, while also offering opportunities for collaborative learning with student buddies, intercultural understanding, and community building. During the latter half of the session, participants connected with their Kansai University student buddies.

The engineers are scheduled to arrive in Japan in mid-May. After completing training at Kansai University, they will begin their job-hunting journey.
