OSIP Faculty Session Held: Nine OSIP Special Appointed Faculties Participated

On Friday, May 8, 2026, OSIP held the “OSIP Faculty Session: Community Building” for OSIP-affiliated faculty members.
Nine OSIP-affiliated faculty members participated in the session. The event provided an opportunity for participants to get to know one another and deepen their understanding of OSIP’s aims and initiatives.

OSIP-affiliated faculty members belong to various faculties and departments across the university. In their respective educational settings, they play an important role in promoting MCL, or Multicultural Collaborative Learning. MCL is an educational approach in which students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds learn collaboratively and work together on social issues. Through this practice, MCL aims to deepen mutual understanding while fostering practical international experience and problem-solving skills.

During the session, participants learned more about OSIP’s initiatives and exchanged ideas on how to build connections among faculty members for future MCL practice. The session also confirmed the importance of forming a faculty community where members can share useful information, consult with one another, and collaborate continuously in ways that support MCL practices in each faculty and department.

OSIP will continue to support MCL practices in each faculty and department, while promoting information exchange and collaboration among faculty members. Through these efforts, OSIP aims to further develop educational practices based on multicultural collaborative learning.
