However, in a multicultural collaborative learning environment, speaking up first, even before your thoughts are fully formed, was valued.<br \/>\r\n\u00a0\u00a0Noticing what we take for granted is incredibly difficult, but it was thanks to OSIP that I was able to become aware of these unconscious assumptions.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"alumni_item\">\n\t\t\t<h3 class=\"alumni_title\">\u30d7\u30ed\u30b0\u30e9\u30e0\u3067\u306e\u5b66\u3073\u3092\u3001\u4eca\u5f8c\u3069\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306b\u751f\u304b\u3057\u305f\u3044\u3068\u8003\u3048\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u304b\uff1f<\/h3>\n\t\t\t<p class=\"alumni_text\">\u00a0\u00a0Going forward, I would like to prioritize an attitude of speaking up actively, rather than being too focused on having a perfectly formed opinion. Instead of holding back by reading the room too much as I have done before, I came to feel that by first putting my thoughts into words and sharing them, I can contribute to more constructive discussions. I also want to be mindful of not assuming my own &quot;common sense&quot; as a given, and instead make a conscious effort to communicate with an awareness of others&#039; values and backgrounds.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"alumni_item\">\n\t\t\t<h3 class=\"alumni_title\">OSIP\u30d7\u30ed\u30b0\u30e9\u30e0\u3078\u306e\u53c2\u52a0\u3092\u8003\u3048\u3066\u3044\u308b\u5b66\u751f\u306b\u3080\u3051\u3066\u3001\u30e1\u30c3\u30bb\u30fc\u30b8\u3092\u304a\u9858\u3044\u3057\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/h3>\n\t\t\t<p class=\"alumni_text alumni_message\">\u00a0\u00a0This program offers a valuable opportunity to confront the &quot;&quot;common sense&quot;&quot; assumptions that are often difficult to notice on your own. While becoming aware of what we take for granted is no easy task, immersing yourself in a multicultural environment allows you to objectively reflect on your own way of thinking and communication patterns.<br \/>\r\n\u00a0\u00a0You may feel uncertain at first, but actively sharing your opinions is key.
