Students choose from courses tailored to their goals, including pronunciation, communication, and presentation skills, building practical English proficiency through daily use. Weekend volunteer activities in an urban slum community offer a grounding encounter with environmental issues and poverty, broadening students' perspectives well beyond language learning.
A cultural exchange event with Filipino students — met first online and reunited in person — brings the program full circle. From origami and omikuji to the Filipino dessert halo-halo, what began as screen-to-screen connection grows into real friendship.
