The Global Campus Trial (OSIP) Philippines Program - Part 1│The Program at Lapu-Lapu Cebu International University (Group 1) Has Started!

The Global Campus Trial (OSIP Program) at Lapu-Lapu Cebu International University (Group 1) started on March 2!
On weekdays, students attend the classes they selected individually. Through practical lessons—such as pronunciation-focused classes, communication-centered lessons, and lectures on presentations—they aim to improve their English skills.
They also held a meeting with local students in preparation for the Japanese Culture Event that will be held jointly with Filipino students next week.
Over the weekend, the students participated in volunteer activities in a slum area. Each student paired up with a child from the community and worked together to pick up trash in the neighborhood. During the activity, they were shocked by the overwhelming piles of garbage that could never be fully collected within the limited time, the harsh environment with unpleasant odors, and the sight of children jumping into the garbage-filled sea to play. At the same time, it became a valuable opportunity for them to reconsider the meaning of their activities there and to reflect on their awareness of environmental issues.
