On March 3, 2026, Kansai University's Senriyama Campus hosted an exchange program with Independent Education Counselors (IEC), an organization of educational counselors from India.
IEC is a network of educational counselors in India that supports students seeking admission to overseas universities, and the visit was attended by counselors affiliated with various educational institutions and university placement companies.
The program featured presentations on Kansai University's educational programs, admissions systems, scholarship opportunities, and Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) programs, followed by an open exchange of views with participants. Attendees expressed strong interest in the academic environment in Japan and international education programs, making the occasion a valuable opportunity for them to deepen their understanding of Kansai University's educational environment and research activities.
The following day, participants visited the Kansai University Japanese Language Program for International Students and the international student dormitory, and a session for information exchange with Osaka Prefecture was also held.
Through this program, all parties gained a deeper understanding of the possibilities for accepting students from India and fostering educational exchange, and further development of international cooperation is anticipated going forward.
