An In-Person Session Conducted as Part of the Career Education Program and the Global Campus Trial DAY2
On Tuesday, January 20, the second day of the in-person collaborative learning session organized under OSIP (Osaka Social Impact Project) initiatives—the Career Education Program and the Global Campus Trial—was held at Kansai University’s Senriyama Campus.
In contrast to the discussions held the previous day, students participated in activities on this day designed to foster community building and multicultural collaborative learning. During the morning session, students took part in the LEGO Challenge, an intercultural activity in which they discussed ideas across cultures and worked creatively to build a sturdy 40-centimeter bridge using LEGO blocks. In the afternoon, students engaged in tandem learning (language exchange), teaching each other their own languages and sharing aspects of their cultures. For the Indonesian students, this provided a valuable opportunity to learn practical Japanese that would be useful in their daily lives.

Both activities conducted on this day promoted multicultural collaborative learning and offered an excellent opportunity for students from both countries to broaden their perspectives.
Through this OSIP project, Kansai University and Osaka Metropolitan University will continue to provide international and diverse learning opportunities and remain committed to fostering students with a strong global mindset.
