Global Campus Trial (OSIP Program) Taiwan Program - Part 1│Program at Cheng Shiu University Begins
From March 15, the Global Campus Trial (OSIP Program) at Cheng Shiu University has officially started!
In class, participants learned about Taiwanese tea culture in English, and at the end of the lecture, they had the opportunity to actually taste tea, experiencing everyday life in Taiwan firsthand.
After class, they interacted with local students who are studying Japanese. Using a mix of Japanese, English, and sometimes Chinese, they had lively conversations about recommended foods, favorite pop culture, and many other topics.
The following day, together with students from the Philippines, they visited a major Taiwanese semiconductor company. It was a great opportunity to learn about the history of the semiconductor industry and the company’s initiatives, broadening their global perspective.
They also visited one of Kaohsiung’s famous tourist attractions, the Great Harbor Bridge, where they deepened their interactions while discussing differences between life in Taiwan and their home countries. Overall, it was a highly enriching and fulfilling experience!
