OSIP Internship Program│Conducted at InterContinental Hotel Osaka

From October 2025 to early January 2026, Kansai University conducted an OSIP internship program at InterContinental Hotel Osaka.
A total of three students participated in the program: two from Panyapiwat Institute of Management and Prince of Songkla University in Thailand, and one from FPT University in Vietnam. During the internship, the students worked on-site at InterContinental Hotel Osaka and gained practical experience in hotel operations.
The students’ performance and attitude during the internship were highly evaluated by the host company. As a result, they were offered the opportunity to continue working at the hotel as part-time staff until the end of February after the internship program concluded.
Through OSIP, Kansai University aims to expand opportunities for students from overseas universities to gain practical work experience in Japanese companies. The program promotes practical education through collaboration between universities and industry.
The program has been conducted at InterContinental Osaka and Holiday Inn Express Osaka City Centre Midosuji. The internship for the three students who participated at InterContinental Osaka has now concluded. Currently, another three students from the same universities are scheduled to begin their internship at Holiday Inn Express Osaka City Center Midosuji at the end of March.
